The Journal of CESNUR uses double-blind peer review. This means that the identities of both reviewers and authors are concealed from each other throughout the review process. We ask authors to prepare their manuscripts in such a way that they do not reveal their identities to reviewers, either directly or indirectly.
As a consequence, we ask that authors
- Submit a separate title page, which will not be part of the peer review, including the author’s name, affiliation, email, and acknowledgements and references to funding sources (if any).
- Use the third person to refer to works they have published, e.g. change “As I have demonstrated elsewhere (Smith 2016, 45)” into “As Smith (2016, 45) has ”
- Do not include their name in the file name and, in Microsoft Word, use “Properties” and the Document Inspector Tool to remove personal information.
We ask that peer reviewers also anonymize their reviews by following (2) and (3) above.
